The Type 2 Sling Mount Kit installs onto the opposite side of the Type 1 Kit to provide true ambidextrous QD sling swivel capability to many Magpul stocks, including the SGA®, MOE® Rifle, MOE® Fixed Carbine, MOE® AK, Zhukov-S, Hunter and Hunter X-22 Stocks and other Magpul stocks with integral QD sling cups. The Type 2 Sling Mount socket has a threaded screw hole to accept the mounting screw from Type 1 Sling Mount on the opposite side of the stock. Accepts industry-standard push-button sling attachments to include the Magpul QDM.
