The Magpul Tactile Lock-Plate fits inside AR/M4 GEN M3 PMAGs and TMAGs to provide a method to differentiate between magazines by touch, even when wearing gloves. They are ideal for identifying different types of ammunition in the same loadout, such as ball, tracer, supersonic and subsonic. The Type 1 Tactile Lock Plate gives a single raised ridge that protrudes through the magazine floorplate and does not affect magazine function or reliability.
